We are an independent Baptist Church located in Monticello, FL (about thirty miles east of Tallahassee). We invite you to join us for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. every Sunday morning. We have classes for all ages. Currently Pastor Walker is teaching through the epistle to Titus verse by verse. He teaches along with a study guide he has written. The teen classes are divided into boys and girls and the smaller kids are divided by grade school and primary. We also have a nursery available for Sunday school.

The ministries at Calvary vary from working with kids in our nursery, to children’s church (ages 4-9), to Vacation Bible School and Youth Camp during the summer. We also have a weekly nursing home ministry, evangelistic opportunities and special meetings throughout the year. Our missions program is very important at Calvary. We believe in supporting like minded missionaries in order to spread the word of God throughout the world.

Our Nursery ministry exists to enable parents to strengthen their walk with God by providing a safe, clean, Christ-centered environment of care for their infants and toddlers. Our nursery is open for all services, including Sunday School and Wednesday evenings.

Pastor Walker has written several books to encourage Christian growth and Bible study. They can be purchased from Bible Baptist Bookstore. His latest book is a commentary on Philippians, Colossians and Philemon.
