Calvary Baptist Church is located in Monticello Florida (about 30 miles east of Tallahassee). We are an independent Baptist church which means we are not affiliated or controlled by any denomination head or church hierarchy.

What can you expect when you come to Calvary? A friendly atmosphere of a church who loves the Lord Jesus Christ and His word. Although we are conservative in belief and practice we are not legalistic or formal. We are just Christians who are seeking to please the Lord by our service to Him. We do not pressure anyone to act a certain way, give a certain amount, or be someone they are not. We offer encouragement and help from the word of God through preaching, singing, and Christian fellowship.

Sunday School is at 9:45 a.m. The adult Sunday school class is taught by Pastor Walker. He is currently teaching through the book of Revelation verse by verse.

Morning Service begins at 11:00 a.m. We are traditional in our music and worship. Pastor Walker preaches the Bible following the expository method of preaching letting the Bible speak for itself.

Evening Service begins at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday Service begins at 7:00 p.m. After prayer, Pastor Walker teaches the Bible verse by verse or brings an expository sermon from the word of God.

Nursery is provided for all services. Ages are infant through three years. We have a safe and clean nursery with a paging system for your convenience.

Children's Church is on Sunday mornings (except the first Sunday of the month) and is for ages 4-9.

TRAC Club ("Teens Redeemed and Called") is a program for the teenagers. They meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m.

King's Kids Club is a program for the younger ages (1st - 6th grades). They also meet on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m.
